We’ve had a terrific Christmas season already here at Crossroads with the WOMEN’S CHRISTMAS BANQUET, our MAGNIFICENT CHILDREN’S MUSICAL and CHRISTMAS AT CROSSROADS last weekend! Now, we are only ONE DAY away from CHRISTMAS EVE and it’s going to be amazing. We are having THREE SERVICES: one at 3 p.m., one at 4:30 p.m. and one at 6:00 p.m.
We only have tickets left for the 3 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. services. If you didn’t get your tickets yet, please call the office today at (817) 557-2277 and we will hold your tickets until you can come by and pick them up. It’s still not too late to invite your friends and neighbors, too. They’d just need to come by the office and get their tickets — or you can pick them up. We are making provision, besides the 3,000 seats in our auditorium, to have overflow seating in our GRAND HALL.

We’re encouraging all of our Crossroads’ family to come early for TWO REASONS: 1) So you can get a great seat, and 2) So you can see the best opening ever for a Christmas Eve service. If you have children or grandchildren, you’re going to want to make sure you’re in your seats in plenty of time before the service starts. It will be the first thing at every service, and will probably be the one thing people are talking about for a long time.
This Thursday, at 12:00 noon, we could be baptizing over 100 people. You don’t have to bring anything, but we’d like for you to sign up so we know how many are coming and can have everything ready for you. What a thrill, on the eve of the day when we celebrate the birth of our Lord, people are going to celebrate their new birth. This is an incredible opportunity for those who haven’t already been baptized. If you’ve already been baptized, we hope you’ll encourage others who haven’t to come and join us. The weather is supposed to be great, the sun will be shining and the outdoor baptistery is heated, too!

As we announced this past weekend, CHRISTMAS AT CROSSROADS is going to become an annual tradition. Just like our Christmas Eve services and Christmas Eve baptisms, another great Crossroads’ Christmas tradition is our annual Christmas Love Offering. I hope everyone who calls Crossroads their church home will be giving a gift to JESUS this Christmas.

I want to take a moment and thank you for being a part of our Crossroads family. God has blessed us with an incredible church family, full of people who “love the Lord their God with all their heart, soul, mind and strength.” It is absolutely amazing what God has accomplished here in the past 45 years and it has only been possible because of people, like you, who have echoed the words of Isaiah when he said, “Here am I, send me!” Thanks for your prayers, participation, generosity and enthusiasm for Christ and His Church.

There’s a bumper sticker about Texas that says, “I wasn’t born here, but I got here as fast as I could!” That’s the way our family feels about Crossroads. We love you and thank God for the privilege of serving with you. So, as we celebrate our 23rd Christmas with you, from our house to yours ...

P.S. Get your tickets to the 3 p.m. or 4:30 p.m. service and come early! It’s going to be an incredible Christmas Eve!
