Have you ever stopped to consider what God could do? Seriously. Think about it. The Bible says God can do anything. But sometimes we get in the way by our stubbornness, selfishness, sin and shortsightedness.
Imagine what God could do …
… If every Christian decided to live a life separated from the world (1 Peter 2:11-12) instead of being saturated by it (Romans 12:1-2; Hebrews 11:24-26).
… If every Christian shared the Gospel with one person every week (Proverbs 11:30; Luke 19:10).
… If every Christian used their spiritual gift(s) to build up the body (Ephesians 4:11-16).
… If every Christian had their priorities right and put JESUS first in everything (Matthew 6:33).
… If every Christian spent time in the Word every day (Psalm 42:1-2; Matthew 5:6).
The Bible says God can do anything. But sometimes we get in the way.
… If every Christian loved being with other believers for worship every Lord’s Day with the same passion David had (Psalm 84:10; 122:1; Hebrews 10: 24-25).
… If every Christian disciplined themselves to always be an encouragement to others (Ephesians 4:29-32).
… If every Christian loved JESUS the way we really ought to love Him (Mark 12:30).
… If every Christian sought to have the attitude of Christ in everything (Philippians 2:5-11).
… If every Christian loved to give like God does and refused to stop at a mere “tithe” of his or her weekly income, but gave above and beyond that as generously and enthusiastically as they possibly could every week (Luke 6:38; 2 Corinthians 8 & 9; Malachi 3:10-12).
… If every Christian walked by faith and not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7).
... If every Christian believed in the power of prayer and practiced it (Mark 11:22-24; John 14:12-14).
… If every Christian took seriously the responsibility for helping others mature in their faith (Colossians 1:28-29) like Paul did.
… If every Christian lived their life enthusiastically anticipating the soon return of JESUS (1 Thessalonians 4:15-18; Revelation 22:20b).
Imagine what God could do.
