Have you ever considered what God could do if every Christian started living their faith and loving Him like we should? The Bible teaches that God can do anything. But sometimes we get in the way by our stubbornness, self-centeredness and sin.
Just think what God could do …
… If every Christian decided to live a radically separated life (1 Peter 2:11-12), instead of allowing their life to be dictated and saturated by the world (Romans 12:1-2; Hebrews 11:24-26).
… If every Christian had the same burden JESUS did to reach people (Proverbs 11:30; Luke 19:10).
… If every Christian served somewhere in the church, using their spiritual gift(s) to build up the body (Ephesians 4:11-16).
… If every Christian had their priorities right and put JESUS first in everything (Matthew 6:33).
… If every Christian had a quiet time in the Word every day (Psalm 42:1-2; Matthew 5:6).
“Sometimes we get in the way by our own stubbornness, self-centeredness and sin.”
… If every Christian couldn’t wait to be with other believers to worship and praise God on the Lord’s Day with the same passion David had (Psalm 84:10; 122:1; Hebrews 10: 24-25).
… If every Christian disciplined themselves to always be an encouragement to others (Ephesians 4:29-32).
… If every Christian loved JESUS the way we really ought to love Him (Mark 12:30).
… If every Christian sought to have the attitude of Christ in everything (Philippians 2:5-11).
… If every Christian loved to give like God does and refused to stop at a mere “tithe” of their weekly income, but gave above and beyond that generously and enthusiastically each week (Luke 6:38; 2 Corinthians 8 & 9; Malachi 3:10-12).
… If every Christian had a passion for living a holy life (Colossians 3:1-17; 1 Peter 1:13-16).
… If every Christian walked by faith and not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7).
... If every Christian believed in the power of prayer and practiced it (Mark 11:22-24; John 14:12-14).
… If every Christian took seriously the responsibility for helping others mature in their faith like Paul did (Colossians 1:28-29).
… If every Christian lived their life enthusiastically anticipating the soon return of JESUS (1 Thessalonians 4:15-18; Revelation 22:20b).
… Just think what God could do.
