While our Pastor is on break, we thought it would be fun to look back at some of the most popular blogs he has written. Today’s blog originally appeared on May 20, 2016. It deals with the subject: IF YOU DON’T GO TO CHURCH, CAN YOU STILL GO TO HEAVEN?

There is no Biblical precedent, encouragement or support of any kind for any type of Christianity that could somehow exist apart from the local church. Yet there are millions of people who erroneously believe they can have a relationship with JESUS without having any kind of relationship with the local church. Who would ever try to convince anyone they could embrace the Groom and ignore His Bride? I can only think of one: the devil.

We have the privilege of being part of a great local church here at Crossroads. This blog will encourage you and everyone else who loves God’s church and is an active, viable, contributing member. But for those who aren’t involved in a local church, this blog will serve as a much needed wake up call.
