SOMEDAY

SOMEDAY is not a holiday, a holy day or a hope-filled day. It’s a “DO NOTHING UNTIL I HAVE TO” day and we should avoid it like the plague.

We’ve all heard someone say, “Someday, I’m going to …”

Here are a few examples …

“Someday, I’m going to get out of debt.”

“Someday, I’m going to begin that project.”

“Someday, I’m going to lose weight and get in shape.”

“Someday, I’m going to start really living for God and putting Him first in my life.”

“Someday, I’m going to ….” you fill in the blank.

When someone begins a sentence with, “Someday …” I immediately think to myself, “No you won’t.” Because SOMEDAY isn’t a day of the WEEK. It’s a day for the WEAK.

Someday isn’t a date on the calendar. It’s a delay day. It’s an “I’m not doing anything until I have to day.” It’s a dead-end street in a nowhere neighborhood.

Someday isn’t a wish, a goal or even a plan. It’s a lie. A cul-de-sac of good intentions and nice sounding statements, but nothing ever changes and never will.

It’s an imaginary day in an imaginary world that will never become a reality.

Don’t get caught in the trap of saying, “Someday …” Instead say, “TODAY!” and watch what happens.

TODAY, I’m going to get out of debt.”

TODAY, I’m going to begin that project.”

TODAY, I’m going to get in shape.”

TODAY, I’m going to start really living for God and putting Him first in my life.”

TODAY, I’m going to ….” you fill in the blank.

Just changing that ONE WORD from SOMEDAY to TODAY can change everything.

Try it and see.

SOMEDAY is not a holiday, a holy day or a hope-filled day. It’s a “DO NOTHING UNTIL I HAVE TO” day and we should avoid it like the plague.

But remember: just SAYING something doesn’t do anything. You still have to DO something. But … if you’ll DO something TODAY, instead of waiting for SOMEDAY, you’ll actually begin to see your dreams come true.

SOMEDAY is not a holiday, a holy day or a hope-filled day. It’s a “DO NOTHING UNTIL I HAVE TO” day and we should avoid it like the plague.

Don’t wait. Don’t hesitate or procrastinate.

Do something … TODAY!!
