• Easter Eggs

Not a thing. That is, unless you’re trying to reach an unsaved world who believes “Easter eggs” somehow have something to do with EASTER. This year Crossroads will host NINE DIFFERENT FIELDS with EGG HUNTS for children from 1 year old through 6th grade. (Including a separate field with an egg hunt just for children with special needs.) We’ll have over 100,000 eggs and lots of prizes to make this annual event the best ever.

Why would we do all that?

Our hope and prayer is to be able to reach hundreds of young children and their families who wouldn’t ordinarily come to Crossroads, but who might be interested in an EASTER egg hunt and would enjoy a picnic dinner and an outdoor service in our amphitheater. Every year thousands do come and every year more people are reached and more lives are changed forever.

It’s just ONE of TEN SERVICES we’ll have this coming weekend, all of them with the same purpose: to reach people with the Gospel of our RISEN LORD!

Tomorrow morning at 11:00, we’ll be hosting a large, outdoor baptism service for those who have never been baptized. (There’s still time for you to sign up and come if you want to be baptized.) Dozens of people are already planning to come and we are praying for more.

Every year thousands do come and every year more people are reached and more lives are changed forever.

Tomorrow night at 7:00 we kick off the weekend with TWO GOOD FRIDAY SERVICES. One in our main auditorium and a Spanish service in our chapel. We encourage everyone who will be serving this weekend, our leaders, staff and volunteers to come and help us kick off the weekend. It’s a terrific opportunity to enjoy EASTER weekend with your families before serving the thousands of others who will be coming to join us.

Saturday afternoon at 4:00 is the LARGEST OUTDOOR EASTER SERVICE in our community! We’ll have plenty of food vendors where you can get something to eat and drink. We’ll have an amazing service in our HUGE amphitheater with awesome music and a terrific message from Matt Cameron. Following the service, the egg hunts will take place and the afternoon concludes with a movie on the gigantic movie screen on the concert sound stage.

Sunday at 7:00 a.m. is our SUNRISE SERVICE in the amphitheater. We’ll have 2500 seats and Krispy Kreme doughnuts. But they are on a first come, first served basis. And, we have an amazing treat for this year’s service. We will be showing a message filmed entirely in the HOLY LAND on the big screen. You will hear a powerful EASTER message filmed in the Garden of Gethsemane. Bring your family and invite your friends and prepare to be moved and inspired like never before. This will be the only showing of this message — at our 7:00 a.m. Sunrise Service!

Following the SUNRISE SERVICE we’ll have SIX MORE SERVICES to celebrate THE RESURRECTION! Beginning at 8:45, and continuing with 10:00 and 11:30 a.m. (Spanish and Unlimited services are also at 11:30 a.m.), as well as our 5:00 p.m. service which will be in our MAIN AUDITORIUM.

We’re also asking you to pray for our entire EASTER weekend outreach. Think about who you can invite to come Friday night, Saturday afternoon or to one of our seven EASTER Sunday services. If you have friends or relatives who have young children, invite them to bring their kids to the EASTER egg hunts on Saturday.

This could be the greatest outreach we’ve ever had and an incredible opportunity for us to share the REAL message of EASTER with some who may have previously thought it was only about EGGS.
