• Connect Groups Online

Jesus said the greatest commandment is to “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’” (Mark 12:30-31a)

This is why we have Connect Groups. These are small groups of 10-14 people that gather each week to build relationships, have sermon-based discussions and learn how to implement the truths of God’s Word into our own lives and the lives of those around us. This is where you can feel comfortable talking about the Bible, asking questions and sharing prayer requests. Find a group that fits your schedule below. You can connect with us at (817) 557-2277 or email us.

There are a few platforms that make it easy for groups to meet online. We recommend Zoom.

  • Zoom offers an easy to use platform that enables you to send an invite to your group members and host a meeting in minutes. The free version limits video calls to 40 minutes, but if one person in the group has the Pro version, there's no time constraints. Here's a quick video that explains how to use Zoom for your Connect Group.
  • Skype is a very popular service that makes organizing an online meeting easy. Like Zoom, it is easy to launch a meeting in minutes.
  • Google Hangouts is a free browser based option. Each user will need a Google account to get started.
  • FaceTime is only available to those with Apple devices.
  • Facebook Video Chat by Messenger is a free service. Only up to 6 people can participate via video.

If you are already connected with people that may want to join a group, we can walk you through forming a Connect Group with those people.

If you are already connected with people that may want to join a group, we can walk you through forming a Connect Group with those people.

Maybe you have connections with people at work or in your neighborhood. Maybe you serve with people on Sunday mornings that live in your area of town. Maybe you'd like to have deeper community with people you've met at church events. You don't have to go to GroupLink to start a group. You can form a group with people you already know.

If you aren't an approved Connect Group leader and would like to become one, click here to begin the application process.

    1. Invite people you know to join your group.
We recommend four to six married couples or eight to ten people of the same gender.'
    2. Agree on a night of the week, meeting time, and location for group meetings.
Predictable meeting times and locations set your group up for success.
    3. Use the form below to register your group.
We'll send you information for our next New Connect Group Leaders Training and other tools to help you launch your new group!
